SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
All registered participants are eligible for scholarships! Dancers may pick up a number during check-in. We do not have a traditional closed audition. Instead, PULSE Faculty choose to reward dancers who catch their eye in classes- whether it’s recognizing technique, drive, style or enthusiasm. This process not only permits more class time, but also allows for a controlled, creative, casual atmosphere. We ask that you wear your scholarship number throughout the entire weekend so each faculty can get the chance to see you during your class performance! The PULSE gives away over $30,000 in scholarships at EACH event including PULSE Convention Scholarships, PULSE Summer Scholarships, Training Scholarships to studios and more!

PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT OPPORTUNITIES
Every great dancer needs a great headshot! Headshots are now color in the dance industry. Use this headshot for your next audition, school event, or local newspaper. A professional resident photographer will take your picture right at The PULSE for an exclusive discounted rate! Sign up for your desired time slot on-site (keep in mind it may be before, between, or after classes) and receive your professional digital negatives and contact sheet before you leave! TEACHERS AND STUDIO OWNERS
Education is our number one goal at The PULSE and we know it’s your number one goal at your studios too! One of our favorite parts of being on tour is meeting and hosting dance educators, teachers, and instructors from across the country. We value and appreciate every one of you and the work you do; we want to make sure you get the most out of your weekend as a teacher at our event. If you are not registering to be a participant but would like to watch classes we offer a Studio Management Band ($95), which allows you to observe and also gives you access to the following teacher events:

Teacher Welcome Reception: Our PULSE Staff welcomes you by hosting this casual meet and greet on Friday evening. Swing by for a glass of wine with your fellow dance educators. A great way to kick off your exciting weekend of dance!

Creative Connect: Group leaders and teachers are invited for this sit-down luncheon on Sunday with The PULSE Faculty. This is an open floor forum and chance for you to connect on a casual, personal level with our faculty. Please remember that time is limited and we may not get to everyone’s questions. For this reason, we ask that you be specific and have questions or thoughts ready for them. Anyone interested in attending Creative Connect must have a GOLD All Access Band or a BLACK Studio Management band.

Teacher Class: Don’t miss this private class with one of the most respected and sought-after choreographers in the business today! This is a closed class- you must have an All Access band to enter. This class is one of the most talked about experiences at The PULSE!

Parents, we thank you for choosing The PULSE as the foundation for your dancer’s training. We know you have many choices available for workshops and events and we are glad you will be joining our PULSE family. Your dancer’s dance education is our priority.

Join us for our Parent Chat- a chance to sit down casually with our director, Pam Chancey! You will learn about options for your dancer’s future including college, internships, training choices, and what the industry is looking for today. Feel free to ask any questions and give any feedback. We always want to hear what our parents have to say and appreciate your comments. Coffee and snacks will be served.
